Mafia Wars Bangkok: Episodes 6 & 7 arrive

Not too long ago, Mafia Wars announced that Bangkok Episodes 6 & 7 , aka Dark Uprising, would be coming soon — and now they have arrived.

Just when you thought you were done with Mafia Wars Bangkok, the guys behind the scenes lay down another two episodes titled ‘Dark Uprising.’ Episodes 6 and 7 will unlock after completing episodes 5a and 5b, and there’s not much else to tell other than the fact that this expansion will contain new jobs, new special items and that you’ll have to ‘fight to re-establish your hold as a major Yakuza and Triad boss.’ Not sure if that means you’ll have to start over from zero to gain favor with the Yakuza and Triads — or something else. There’s also the promise that you’ll cross paths with ’shadowy forces,’ (see pic below: don’t those guys look ’shadowy’ in their black hoods?) whatever that may entail. ? More on Games.com ?|? Mafia Wars properties overhauled in every city

In February, Mafia Wars upgraded properties in New York , giving them a graphical polish and the ability to collect cash from all of them at once. Today, all properties across the game get the same treatment — a more attractive presentation, the ability to collect from all at once and — as you make more money — additional properties will be available for purchase. Mafia Wars 10 Million Fan Appreciation Event, March 30-31

In honor of reaching 10 million fans on Facebook, Mafia Wars will be giving away a few tokens of their appreciation starting March 30 (12:01 a.m. PST) to March 31 (11:59 PST). Mafia Wars pirate added to special loot lineup

With the recent release of Mafia Wars Bangkok — we’ve been introduced to the benefits of working with either the Yakuza or Triads, the joys of earning Thai Baht and, now, of locating the pirate, a special loot item — much like the Politico Corrupto in Cuba — required to pull off certain high-level jobs. Pirates can be earned by taking over the Piracy Operation business in Mafia Wars Bangkok, which is unlocked by mastering the ‘Secure a Pirate Vessel’ job. Players will start out earning one pirate every three hours, with a total capacity of five pirates

Big Mafia Wars New York changes coming; robbing makes a comeback

Just as Mafia Wars Bangkok arrives, the New York portion of the game will be undergoing some major renovations — New York properties, specifically. These changes are designed to accommodate “the return of robbing.” Zynga also pinky swears that this revamp will not make players lose money.
