Cafe World has added some improvements to the Gifts Box, but the new system does have its detractors… Here are the Possible Issues of Suckage: – Right now, what’s really needed is Inventory Consolidation, not Gifts Consolidation. The Inventory is a much busier place than the Gift Box and when you’re buying up to 100 tiles to lay your floors, and dozens more to line your walls, you don’t want to have to click and drag every single tile/wallpaper to the Cash Register so you can sell them off.

FarmVille Pot of Gold kicks off St. Patrick’s Day celebration

A few days ago, we predicted that the next big holiday in FarmVille would be St. Patrick’s Day, and it looks like the festivities are getting started with a new Pot of Gold collection. Much like the Valentine’s Day event from February, the goal is to fill up your pot (which you can find in your gift box) by collecting gold pieces from friends.

Oyster Beds make their splash in FishVille!

FishVille players, check your tank’s Gift Box! Last night, the game surprised players by adding a completely unannounced new feature called “Oyster Beds”. Judging from the blurbs and promo images, Oyster Beds will act pretty much like Treasure Chests , offering random “special rewards”, while you can also harvest them for Coins and XP.

Cafe World gift boxes: Big changes coming soon

Look like Cafe World gifting will soon undergo an overhaul that will make it easier to put your gifts to work — mostly filling the bellies of your virtual customers. Big changes, which will significantly reduce time spent clicking on numerous gifts, include the following: duplicate gifts will be combined, all food will be served together, and you’ll be able to sell items you don’t want for coins. Sounds good to us! Cafe World Community Manager Pinky Chefcadero explains these changes in more detail: “Our proposed new gift box would “stack” multiple servings for easier storage, loading and serving.
